Social Media Manager at Vajiram & Ravi
Location: Old Rajinder Nagar
Full Time, In-Office

Role Summary -

• As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing content strategies across YouTube, Instagram, Telegram, and other platforms.
• You will work closely with academic, creative, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, engaging
  content that strengthens Vajiram & Ravi's leadership in the UPSC test-prep space.

Key Responsibilities and Skills -

• Strategy and calendar: Build platform-wise plans aligned to admissions, launches, and the UPSC calendar; maintain a precise content calendar.
• Content and production: Create content and manage editing for high-retention shorts, carousels, and lives; craft strong hooks, CTAs, and SEO-friendly You Tube metadata.
• Community and voice: Manage comments/DMs, Telegram groups, and live Q&As with a credible,
  student-first tone; ensure rapid, on-brand responses.
• Optimization and analytics: Optimize YouTube and Instagram (titles, thumbnails, retention, hashtags); track reach, engagement, watch time, CTR, CPL, and enrollments; run experiments using UTMs, GA4, and platform insights.
• Collaboration and execution: Coordinate with cross-functional teams; demonstrate strong creative
  sense for copy, basic design, and lightweight video edits.

Qualification -

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager in Ed-Tech or similar industry
• UPSC/test-prep experience or strong familiarity with UPSC syllabus, PYQs, and exam cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to grow and manage student-focused online communities.
• Proficiency in social media tools, analytics dashboards, and content optimization techniques.
  

KPIs -

• Follower and engagement growth by platform.
• You Tube watch time, retention, CTR, and subscriber velocity.
• Webinar registrations and attendance.
• Community response time and sentiment.
