Position: Faculty for Library Science
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 1-2 years in offline/online teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Teach core and elective courses in Library and Information Science as per the academic curriculum.
B. Develop and update course content, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in alignment with
academic standards.
C. Guide and mentor students in academic projects, dissertations, and research work.
D. Conduct lectures, workshops, seminars, and practical training sessions.
E Participate in departmental activities, curriculum development, and academic planning.
F. Engage in academic research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
G. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments and trends in the LIS field.
H. Participate in faculty meetings, student counseling, and institutional events.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

A. Master's degree (MLISc M.Lib.I.Sc) or Bachelor's degree (BLISc / B.Lib.I.Sc) in Library and Information
Science from a recognized university is mandatory.
B. NET / SET / Ph.D. in Library Science is preferred (as per UGC norms for permanent faculty positions).
C. Prior teaching experience at UG/PG level is desirable.
D. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
E Strong understanding of LIS theories, digital libraries, research methodology, and information technology applications in libraries.
